GOTYS has inspired me to make a petition about American Girl's way-too-high prices. Think about it, Julie's car is $350! I can't buy a $350 Volkswagen for my dolls! I'd buy the car Our Generation has for $35, because it's much cheaper! American Girl sells a bathtub with a few accesories and bubbles inside the tub (Which I honestly don't like) for $58. The Our Generation bathtub doesn't have bubbles, but it DOES have LOTS of accesories, and it's only $23. The Our Generation tub is what I would buy, price-wise. American's Girl's Dinner Table & Accessories costs $90 for the table and chairs alone, while the Our Generation Table and Chairs set cost $39, and although the table is smaller, they do give you a teapot with some teacups. Basically, I love American Girl, but I don't love their prices. If we can get the signature to 2,000 signatures (Please, only sign once.), I'll send it to American Girl and maybe they'll consider lowering prices.
