How can any one of you look at this picture and not act? If you do not act, then you are as guilty as those who caused this poor dog to suffer like this. If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem, no exceptions. Grow up and join the human race and change these laws immediately. Be the change and have other states follow your lead, until all of the world stands united against this inhumanity. Do it now, do not wait, change these laws and protect all animals from those who abuse them.

no animal deserves to be abused...please strengthen the laws to punish those that do....you would not want to be left tied to a tree with food or water or burned alive or any other of the abusive situations that have come to light in the last few months.....so don't let people get away with doing it to defenseless animals.

We are begging for laws that will give severe consequences to anyone who abuses or TORMENTS DOGS , CATS AND HORSES IN ANYWAY!!
If our lawmakers would just realize that if stiff laws for the mis treatment of these animals would be made it would put a stop to the cruelty to humans also, because a person that gets away with torturous acts to our pets will graduate to malicious acts to humans.

It is high time Mississippi stands up for those who cannot speak for themselves and while we are at it, let's add equine to the list. Animal abuse is linked to child abuse. Let's punish those who would hurt others whether they be human or animal.
