Mississippi needs strong laws here to protect our animals from abuse . Starving , freezing , beaten etc!

This should not even need to happen. It should have been a law a long time ago. These are animals that are bread to rely and be a part of a human family. TO allow torture, abuse, murder or anything to these animals without harsh penalties makes the human race even more pathetic!

If the FBI realizes the need to follow animal abusers--then we as the public need laws to make sure the abusers are labeled as such. Most important is that the animals are protected from cruelty.

I have been saying for several years now this MUST be done. I am going to cancel my Farm Bureau insurance if they don't stop lobbying against this amendment.

It is long overdue. It is time for our lawmakers to do something to stop these heartless people from hurting poor defenseless animals. We need laws to make them stop!........not a slap on the wrist!

If our elected officials don't change the laws and make animal cruelty a felony, they all need to be replaced by ones who will.....PERIOD.
