These are the worst names ever. No way would anyone take us serious at a baseball game. Amarillo would be nothing but a joke and no one would come see any team named any of these horrific names.

Come on folks, we can vent all day long. But, these were not the final 5 names by OUR vote. This is what the powers behind this club picked. Add to that that all our suggestions now are even in vain. They’ve already decided what the name will be!! All the Amarillo citizens were needed for is to pay for the project. We’ve been duped!

Names are horrible and sound more like new you hear from the local T-ball parks or flag football fields! If this is going to be a professional team, it needs a professional name! Obviously, you need to go with the people signothis petition, remember, if they are embarrassed of the be, they will more than likely be embarrassed to show up to games. No fans, no revenue! Think!!!!

How about these:
*Amarillo Axolotls
*Amarillo Rocketmen (In remembrance to Rick Husband)
*Amarillo Alfs
*Amarillo Howler Monkeys
Those are all better than the ones announced. You only get one shot to get this city right in this direction. You're already messing it up.
