ALONE 'Homeless in all but name'

The increasing levels of homelessness being inflicted on Irish families and Irish children is an absolute scandal. I never thought I'd be ashamed of being Irish but this Government has proved me wrong.

I fully support any action required to address the issue of homelessness which appears to be reaching epidemic proportions in Ireland.

A very essential cause! We owe our elders so much.

Older people need homes as much as any other vulnerable person. Many older people do not have family to help and support them contrary to popular belief.

Older people must have their housing needs taken seriously. The longer they live independently the less their care will cost the state,

Housing is a basic human right for young and old alike. What kind of a society are we living in when we can not look after our older people we are all getting older.
