Older people and babies should be looked after as a priority. Old school sense.

It is a shame on our society that so many are homeless in a relatively affluent society.

We must look after our older people. They deserve to be allowed to live a life of dignity in a safe environment.. It should be a number one priority for any Government to provide them with a place to call home.

We need to VALUE our elderly, most of whom will have worked hard all their lives and we need to ensure they have at the very least a place to call HOME

It is shameful that as we celebrate the centenary of 1916 that we ignore this great need of our elders.

Dear TD's Please include provision for Older people in all plans for Social Housing. Supporting the most vulnerable in our society supports the whole community. Teresa Comiskey

Government agencies need to stop pushing the envelope around the table and accept the many years of self-evident evidence that is and has been available in terms of rent supplement that is unrealistic in regard to spiraling rental costs in our larger cities. Urgent intervention and decisive action needs to be taken to support and help those who are "out of home" in regard to these two significant elements of the housing crisis in our society.
