Suffolk County Community College INCREASES their tuition bill by an ADDITIONAL $100 due to a new MANDATORY meal plan. The new meal plan AFFECTS students enrolled in 9 or more on-campus credits on either the Ammerman of Michael J. Grant campuses. If the money IS NOT used by the following SPRING semester, the students will NOT receive a refund! Why should this be allowed? It's OUR MONEY and we should be allowed to OPT-OUT!
It should be your choice where you want to eat and how your grocery money is spent. Low income students shouldn't be forced to pay for meals that are prepared and EBT/food stamps wouldn't even take at a public two year college.
