Great experience for our children and Grandchildren. Hooray for becoming self-sufficient. Nothing tastes as good as your own fresh hen laid eggs. One hen may lay I believe 230 a year; think what 2 or three hens can do!!! Enough for yourself and sell or trade with the neighbors.

Chickens hopefully will help get rid of these non-native Agama Lizards that have eaten all the native lizards and frogs; also eaten native bird eggs and baby birds. Chickens also may assist with the fire ants populations too (?). God Bless America and Chickens too.

I am in favor of virtually any animal allowed in our community. However, just as with my animals, if they cause a nuisance, then the board does have a right to cite the property owner for the nuisance. On that basis, I am voting in favor of this petition.
