The city of Los Gatos should grant a license to Stabucks to serve beer and wine at the Downing Center location. It would be a great addition to this property and a benefit to the surrounding community

Having been to one of the Starbucks that has their "after dark" feature, I can safely say this would be a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They serve beer and wine only in the evening and for limited hours. It is not a "bar" and they also serve their regular menu of non-alcoholic drinks and food options. It would be nice to be able to walk to a nearby locale for a glass of wine or a beer and some snacks. Please consider speaking to the neighborhood about this and let us voice our opinions.

It would be nice to have a nice place to enjoy wine or beer in walking distance. I'm sure LG wants to minimize car trips to bars.
