Without an acting something immediately my daughter is not able to get an appointment to get her instruction permit and finish driver’s ed let alone get her drivers license when she turns 16.

This is a great summer to get practice. Please help us get started asap and not drive 5 HOURS in one day to get our permit in Wenatchee!

Please let kids get instructional permits online. The limited locations and hours are very difficult to navigate and I know that getting a license should warrant and in person appointment, instructional permits could be handled online very easily!

Please allow new drivers to get instruction permits via online. We have been checking the DOL website and nothing is available at the locations listed...we checked all the way through December 2020! Please allow temporary instruction permits to new drivers via an online process.

So frustrating that you guys have NO appointments available!! People are having to drive from Snohomish county to the Tri-cities or Wenatchee to get their kids permits. And why haven’t you opened the Smokey point and Everett locations?? Come on DOL!! Figure it out!!

The homeschooling, stay at home order, and other isolation precautions are important, and they also are a significant hardship on families. If students cannot get their learners permit and progress with drivers education, this could cause significant problems with working families this fall. There are no appointments available at the department of licensing to get permits and exceptions need to be made in these unusual times.

This is the perfect time for young people to learn to drive while traffic is low, families only travel domestically by car & other youth activities are suspended to keep our communities healthy. Please facilitate that effort by allowing online instruction permit acquisition or opening offices safely for appointments. Currently there are NO appointments available for months to obtain a long overdue instruction permit to drive legally now that online/classroom instruction is complete for our children.

Please consider signing this order immediately so kids can starts practicing driving as they are leaning the material.

Please allow students to obtain permits without having to go in person! The kids starting the class need to be able to practice as they learn and the state cannot accommodate all of those kids because of COVID and social distancing. You can solve this problem by signing this order!
