Small businesses are the heart & soul of this country, we should encourage & support them in every way possible. Live music

Why are we trying to close (a minority ran) small businesses? Is this a racial thing? They have been there for 16 years, and this is a problem now? This is ridiculous. And how far is the nearest City resident? Not close enough to be bothered to close someone's livelihood. I just can't believe this has gone to court. They do good things for the community. This is absurd.

Live music is a necessity, unless you want West Chicago to go the way of Charlestown and completely die

Why shut down a small successful family business when we are trying to rebuild after this awful pandemic?!

There is effectively zero noise pollution in this area caused by this venue. There is no reason to target them for selective enforcement of an ordinance that's impossible for a nearby highway to comply to at the same location.

This is a great restaurant and bar that many creative people come to collaborate and find community. I love Cairo, this a beautiful environment with great people and West Chicago needs places like this to inspire local artists and musicians. After Covid took so much from us- don't take our joy too.
