Cairo Ale house has been one of the most formative social venues that I have encountered in my life. I have met more friends and good people there than pretty much anywhere else, and the art and community that they support is second to none. Please consider what it would mean to a family that has grown together for 16 years to do this--this doesn't even factor in the evidence supporting their case, just the community alone. Of course, all the evidence presented points to the fact that the new sound ordinances are completely unreasonable. The only thing being accomplished here is to crush an already struggling small business due to COVID, which has proven over nearly two decades that they are committed to keeping safety and building a positive and inclusive community. I wouldn't be anything close to the person I am today if it weren't for formative social experiences had at Cairo with close friends. Please reconsider these overbearing ordinances and their enforcement, for they destroy the communities that the most local and committed dedicate their lives to creating for others.
