Allow Urban Chickens in Rockford Illinois

This is an ignorant law that needs to be changed. We had 5 hens for months, before the city caught on to them and forced us to get rid of them.... Ignorant laws chase people and jobs out of town...

Considering rising prices as well as wanting to become more self-sufficient, I think chickens should be allowed. Plus they can be great companions.

i Have recently bought a home and would love to raise a small amount of chickens in my yard.

As a future homeowner I would like to have the ability to raise chickens or even quail in my back yard.

I want to be able to have 2-3 chickens especially with the prices so high.

I would love to have chickens even if it's only 3 of them! Would be so much cheaper then buying them.

With the bird flu epidemic raising the price of eggs so high, the need for this option within the city is justified.

I support small farms and urban chickens. They're not a nuisance and they provide us with food.

there is no reason for people to not be able to keep a reasonable number of poultry on their property.
