Fly the flag at station 4 and we go away! It’s that simple.

Bring this back. The people that are against this flag will not hesitate to call on the firefighters if their house catches . And theses heroes would be there for you. Let the flag fly it stands for honor .

It was shameful that you make a decision to just remove this flag due to one single complaint of someone stating it was offensive, you never heard a broad range of perspectives before deciding to remove it. Had you done so and allow others that freedom of understanding and diversity it would have ultimately made you a stronger and more informed community where everyone opinions and views matter. You need to lead in appropriately and this time and situation you got it wrong. So shameful.

The thin red line is part of who the fire department is. Just as the thin blue line represents officers. The thin gold line represents dispatchers. And the thin green line represents the military. The list goes on but if you remove the thin red line then your disgrace goes out to all those around it.

I fail to comprehend why the Mayor would not have the moral code to honor our fallen and injured firemen who put their lives on the line for us everyday. To me the flag is also a reminder of the unselfish act of bravery of the families of our fireman who also serve.

I have friends there in Ma and this is an outrage to every man and woman who have work and built up all the outstanding fire departments in our nation. Shame on the officials that let this happen!
