Please just educate people on the meaning of the flag. Maybe then they won't feel offended.

Let the community vote ,seeing that one person could get it removed let the people decide if it should be put back into the station

It’s the least we can do to remember all of the fallen and injured fire fighters who put their lives on the line to save lives every day!

I fully believe tgg F at in times such as now we should all unite and support our first responders. Flying this flag of solitude should not even be a question. I pray it is allowed. Thank you for your sacrifices for the community. God bless.

Saddened by the decision to remove the flag, I consider it disrespectful to the police officers, firefighters and first responders who protect us daily. Truly disheartening!!!!!

As a retired firefighter I find it disgusting that you would order a flag removed that commemorates lost firefighters.

As Firefighters we put our lives on the line every minute of the day on duty and off duty we respond to help others in need. The Thin Red Line Flag commemorates firefighters that place their lives second to those they protect. ... The Thin Red Line Flag represents the courage firefighters find to conquer their darkest fears in order to save and protect the lives and property of others. This flag should be raised at every Fire Station and the city should be proud of what it represents.
