My Dad was a Newton Fire Fighter who died in the line of duty. He spent many years at Station Four. I was very pleased to see that flag displayed there and hope it can be returned.

Far more people on this petition find that flag to be a sense of pride and cohesion amongst firefighters than those who somehow found offense in it. Let the flag fly!

Supporting each other during these trying times is paramount to a good, stable workforce. Showing that support is the key element to let all members know they are wanted, needed and appreciated. Leave the Flag alone. It's a sign of solidarity. Nothing more, nothing less.
