I have been reading through the messages you all are leaving and they confirm exactly why I started this fight. Watching so many young people struggle in silence because they lack access to basic care is heartbreaking. I am currently working on a proposal to present to the board to keep this momentum moving forward.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me how desperately so many kids need a safe space they can access when home life is not an option. Your support proves that people finally understand why a teenager should be able to get professional help on their own terms.

thank you for doing this. i really needed someone to talk to when i was 15 but my mom wouldnt let me go.
good luck with this. kids should be able to get help if they are struggling mentally
my parents told me i was just being dramatic so i never got the help i needed. wish this was a thing years ago
I was one these students who sought counseling but had parents that only believed in counseling through religion
THIS IS SO REAL. some parents dont get it and it can be dangerous for the teen.
