After the students were told by the vice principal to their face, they were allowed to have hair color because the school understands the need for students to be able to express themselves. This school loves to bully our children. Since they weren't able to enforce the dress code with the length of the skirts, they 've decided to pick on the children who color their hair. This is not what we the american taxpayers pay our educators to do.

In Louisiana, public schools are not allowed to punish students for having colored hair. The state law prohibits discrimination in public schools based on race, creed, color, national origin, or natural, protective, or cultural hairstyle. This means that schools cannot refuse admission or exclude students based on their hair color or texture. However, parents must provide written consent for corporal punishment, which includes spanking or other forms of physical discipline. Let people express themselves.

I say you should be able to dye your hair at school. Its just hair. And it's not permanent, so it's not that big of a deal to not allow dyed hair.

We should be allowed to color our hair. It makes no sense that we can’t have colored hair
