This whole country is going to the dogs they’re taking away all our rights one by one and parents have all the right to know what the hell they’re teaching i our children in our public schools!!!!!!!

Why not allow parents to know? This is akin to teenagers hiding the fact that they are smoking from their parents. Never thought it would come from a school district. I went to MCPS growing up, and this is a disgrace.

As a former MCPS parent and MCCPTA VP, teaching of sexuality in any form is something that parents should be aware of and have the option to "opt out."

Do not take away parents’ rights. Parents know best when it comes to the sexuality of their children. Teachers stick to Math, English Grammar and Spelling, Geography, True U.S. History, World History, Reading, Finances, all related to every day living & learning.Languages.

Everyone on the school board should be removed immediately and we the people should vote in new members.
This is what we get for our tax dollars, not a good education anymore, just more of this.

It is up to my husband and I to teach our children about values, not mcps. Please teach my children academics and do not take away my right to opt out of teachings that go against our family values!

MCPS CANNOT EXCLUDE PARENTS FROM PROBLEMATIC LITERATURE. Young children are innocent regarding human sexuality. It is not fair curriculum for classroom especially excluding parental consent.

My child is in private school because of your policies I am signing this to help parents who cannot afford private school and to stop the indoctrination of kids and to protect the future.
