When I exchanged my Pounds to rupees last year it was legal tender. They took my pounds now they wont change my old rupees. Not right. Why should OCI/PIO be descriminated. We visit India often and spend money there.

This is clearly discrimination for OCI holders that they are not treated same as NRI when they holds millions of $ account in indian banks as an NRI and NRO account. This should be solved ASAP.

We have all contributed to India's development and so I hope Mr Modi will extend the same courtesy to us OCI's/PIO's, in allowing us to exchange old notes until the June 2017 deadline.

Please allow OCI holders to be able to exchange the demonetized indian rupees in their respective countries in the Indian High Commission/consulate offices.

Please allow me to exchange my old notes as I am an OCI holder and have proof of withdrawing the money from my NRO Account. This is hard earned money with proof of tax paid and tax returns filed up to date.

Best use for our old notes in 2019 when the the BJP representatives come asking for funds from OCI /PIO card holders, give them the old currency notes as RBI has no provisions to exchange our notes.
