why discriminate against OCI/PIO card holders?? happy to have our spending money but cannot make a provision to deal with exchange of old INR currency. happy to offer to a charity rather than the Indian government !!!

I am supportive of any decision by the Govt. of India which will usher upon a better tomorrow for our motherland. However, a lot of us are losing hard earned money due to this policy (or lack of it). Please allow OCIs and PIOs exchange money like the NRIs.

The white money in possession with OCI holders should not become worth less. Don't see any reason to discriminate OCI holders from policy.

If India doesn't treat the OCI/PIO similar to NRIs, then we should all boycott sending money to India. We all pitched in by sending money when the nuclear boycott happened in 1998 but this reckless government now doesn't want to give back our hard earned money. Dump Modi and his government.

“The Ministry of External Affairs” in India handles OCI / PIO Related matters and concerns.
This also applies for foreign tourists in India. They will address and remedy your concerns.
All OCI / PIO holders are advised to contact The Minister of External Affairs – Mrs. Sushma Swaraj for all their concerns.
Twitter may be a good avenue. Also try all other avenues possible.

NRI, OCI and PIO card holders should be able to exchange their rupee and at airport. PERIOD. Wake up and use common sense. This is ridiculous idea of someone to send NRIs/PIOs/OCI holders to specific RBI branch. Why? Will Indian govt pay for hotel and food expenses if person does not have residence anywhere near those branches?

We are OCI card holder. Currently we are in India, we have about RS. 40000 in our possession. We will have the same right as Other NRI
