Perfectly acceptable footwear in my opinion plus they are hard wearing and practical in just about all weather conditions

Surely well fitting & hardwearing shoes should be preferable to ones that do not give support or provide protection against the weather. Has any explanation been given?

I've worn ND shoes for about nearly 20 years and find the fashionable and smart. It should also be noted that the founder and owner of Nicholas Deakins (Craig Nicholas Tate) is a former pupil of the school.
I hope you get the 1000 signatures.

These shoes are very sustainable during the winter months I found I was forever buying pairs of shoes after shoes for my daughter these lasted all year I think it's ridiculous and needs looking at !

Wow I wore these boots over 25 years ago, to school the style hasn't really changed much. There a very well made pair of boots, hard wearing n long lasting as we walked to and from school. This was a Leeds shop, and the boots are not cheap I'm shocked and stunned that your not letting children wear these hard wearing boots.

The shoes you are suggesting they wear are not suitable in bad weather and do not last two minutes with the amount of wear they get,

These shoes are smart and hard wearing I don't see a justifiable reason for not allowing them being worn

Full agree, my daughter had Deakins all they last year and they lasted the full year. My daughter doesn't like the styles of shoes they are allowed and these styles are not practical for her as she also walks to Middleton at least once a week to her dads. I would be more than happy to come along to any meetings to air my views in person

3 children , all wore Deakins. durable, weather resistant and protect ankles . now youngest will be in slip on "dolly " shoes. wet socks in bad weather, more chance of slipping. I cannot understand the logic in this rule.
