Mrs Mak inspired my son to read more than the sports pages! And now he loves reading and writting! She is inspirational, passionate and a teacher who really CARES. She deserves dignity and respect.

Commencement is not only about transitioning to the new, it is most certainly about celebrating the past. Mrs. Mak will forever be a part of the Class of 2016's collective memory. Please model to our children that rituals superceed disagreements and arbitration. This day is about them.

Mrs. Mak has had a tremendous impact on both my children as well as my husband and me. I hope whatever disagreements that have occureded, they can be set aside for 2 more days. Think of the example you are setting for the children. Is this how you want them to remember HPS? Kindly reconsider.

I am so grateful for Mrs. Mak for being such an inspiration to Adel. She has instilled in him love and passion for writing. The graduation ceremony without her presence will be incomplete.

To be excluded 2 days from graduation is a punishment to the students.

Mrs. Mak has been an amazing influence on our kids and we would love to see her there with them as they graduate from HPS.

This is very disturbing to our kids. Mrs. Mak is very important to make graduation the happy event we are all looking forward to.

We personally feel indebted to Mrs Mak and will consider not attending graduation ceremonies unless she is allowed to attend.
