For every resting place, there should be a small space to celebrate their life! Memorials help bring peace to the living and those looking down on us can see they are always being thought about, through inoffensive, bright and beautiful displays! There is nothing more saddening than a resting place with nothing on; more often than not, people place flowers or a token of thought on those without, to bring a little happiness and love to them. Lives have already been taken - do not take away their little area of love!

As an angel mummy, I know how important these little items are - the memories, the meaning, the need to make our babies resting place beautiful. If you have never lost a child, you will never understand the need, but please show some compassion and understanding to those who have.

It's disgusting what the parish council is trying to do. it looks much better when the graves ect are tender to. I will support this all the way.

I fully support loved ones being able to show their love and give personality to graves . I honestly can't understand what's more lovely than a decorated, loved and kept grave/"garden" -cut flowers die and look unkept quickly, longer lasting "objects" and "decorations" should be encouraged not banned, they weather much better and are made to withstand the elements - and can last for years looking beautiful. It always makes me smile to know that graves been visited and loved!

I’m signing this petition because it’s heartless and disgusting and disrespectful to the families of the beareaved, especially those with little babies there

This is disgusting, my mum has been up there for 6 years now and we have always had extra memorials so why is it any different now. This is the only place to reflect and remember our loved ones.
