Allow Memorials at Sileby Cemetery

The family's should be able to put what they want on their children's graves,

This is an absolute disgrace by Sileby parish council !! They should be ashamed of them selves

I hope they realise how awful this decision is and reconsider!

my brother and father are next to each other this is a total disgrace what the council are doing weve pay for the plot for one hundred years it says in the deeds doing this is cause familys with loves one their very up setting we cant let the council get away with this its total shocking

Let people remember their loved ones how they see fit. Who is it harming making a grave look pretty.

What an incredibly cruel, unjustified and unnecessary rule to try and enforce. I hope the council rethink their decision for all those poor families who have lost a loved one.

I also lost someone close tome it's a place where you can go and be at peace with them

Please dont do this to these families. This is all they have left and can do with their loved ones who have past. It is somebodies home/resting place now. Why carnt it be decorated and cared for just like we you would to your homes where we rest. Its very heartless of the council. Should be ashamed.

Hope this gets sorted how awful that these poor parents can’t even place sentimental items on their little ones grave!!! So upsetting, they’ve been through enough how terrible to lose a child. Good luck xxx
