when people have experienced such a devastating loss they should be able to place the decorations they like at their grave, especially when it is all contained in their lot. Please change your rules.

As a bereaved parent myself I know the importance of keeping your child’s grave decorated with ornaments etc. What some people don’t realise is that we no longer have our child, but we have their plot. This is the only place for some that we can keep memories and significance. When you visit a loved ones grave you shouldn’t be worried about other people’s graves, everyone has a different story. To some it may seem like clutter, but to a bereaved parent it is a safe place for them to visit.

These mothers fathers sons and daughters should be allowed to show their love for the people no longer in their lives. It doesn't matter how they show it its their way of grieving. I think they are lovely all of them.

This is unbelievably heartless. Shame on Sileby council for issuing this notice. I hope it gets overturned and your little boy’s lovely resting place stays untouched.

It seems some are allowed to decorate as tgey please and others are not both.my parents are there and we wanted to put a border around but was told it wasnt allowed and then the following week a grave 3 away form ours did exactly what we were gona do and it has been there since and is also one of the nicest it enhances the grave si as we pay for the plot should be allowed withim reason to do with it as we see fit

Let grieving families make their loved ones resting place a place they can take things to in memory of them. A grieving mother/father/sister/aunt/uncle/cousin should all have the right to celebrate the loss of their loved one as they see fit. They have paid money so that they have that safe place to go and visit. What harm is it doing by allowing them to continue doing the things that have always been done and thus far never caused an issue. This should be the last thing anyone should be worried about after losing a loved one. Don’t fix it if it isn’t broken... Next there will be rules and regulations about flowers. The world has gone crazy!!

Allow families to grieve their loved ones and decorate their graves.
