What is the harm. People want to remember thier nearest and dearest their way. Not to be told by a bunch of strangers what they can or can't do at their graves

Absolute disgrace! Relatives should be able to personalise their loved ones grave as they please. The council surely have better things to do around Sileby?

As a grieving mother myself this is outrageous. We don’t have much to hold onto when loosing a child. Let the family grieve for there child in peace!

I support this petition. Families should be allowed to remember their loved ones in whichever way they feel they want to.

I think this is disgusting, heartless and unessacery, so long as flowers, ornaments etc are all off the grass, why is this harming anyone or causing any bother?

Most of need more than one vase for all the family to leave flowers for our loved one.

Just let grieving families be - putting toys and keepsakes on a graveside is the only way that some families can parent the children they no longer have. I don’t know what kind of mind sits and dreams these ridiculous rules up, but taking a fight to those who have lost loved ones is hideous and if putting our names to a petition helps them then I am more than happy to do so.

I fully support this petition, it's a disgrace that people can't show love and respect to those that have been lost, it does absolutely no harm.

Absolutely disgusted that people's memories are being destroyed by people that don't give a damn. I have family and friends in sileby cemetery, I don't know how Charnwood dare to upset grieving families

Please urgently rethink your stance on removing the families’ decorations and dedications to their lost loved ones. It is necessary for people to demonstrate love and active rememberance to their lost loved ones as a way of processing their grief. Whether it’s with flowers, cards, decorations etc, it’s important to allow the bereaved to show their love to their lost.
