The lockers are way too small for a school bag, and carrying around two or more different textbooks? No way. Also I feel many tardies will be handed out due to the change of procedure and the difficulty of having to go to your locker every period.

My kids go here and my daughter was so excited to use her new $65 backpack and now she can't use it because of a "trip hazard."

"Tripping hazard." This is a cheap deterrent for in school weapon control. Place better safety measures, not punish students.

I am going to khs and I was excited until I learned of this new rule. I will have barely any time and will have to 1. Be late or 2. Carry my things with me so I don't have to 3rddusk being late going to my locker. Khs needs to stop.

The goal of a school should to educate students in the most comfortable environment possible so learning is most effective. you are shredding those comfort items away from these children and the anxiety in this school will worsen rather than get better. more janitor accidents in school chairs, more tardies, more students running in the halls. all around just a bad decision that makes all students and staff rebel against each other. not to mention that i would like to have a good last year at KHS and have my belongings on me as a individual right.

That rule is stupid bc the lockers are way to small to fit bags and people in career class like welding have extra equipment they have to carry around. Anyway I’ve never seen anyone trip on bags that are on floor
