I didn't have a backpack when I was in school that was late 70s early 80s why would you return to that unless you are returning to those days that's ridiculous to say because of tripping why not say because of drugs and a gun spend money and mandated doors and paid police to scan the bags that's what's it about

This rule is not fair to any child at that school. If our children are required to go to their lockers in between classes then they should not get counted as tardy when they are late to class every period trying to get their supplies for the next class in between periods. Plus how is it fair to my daughters that they have to carry their pads or tampons on them and let everyone in the school they are on their period. That is embarrassing to alot of young girls and they will be completely miserable if people are making fun of them for it. You are taking away our children's privacy and that is definitely not okay. They are required to carry laptops in school and now that they cant have backpacks they will have to carry them and take even more of a chance of something happening to it by somebody bumping into them and it falling and breaking. That is completely unfair to the students and the parents of KHS who have to pay to have it fixef!!

i feel that taking our backpack privileges is outrageous and our backbacks are needed especially for carrying all of our folders, textbooks, and computers to all 7 of our different classes. there’s also the career center and we need supplies to take to and from those classes as well. it is nearly impossible to manage school with no backpack, and only 5 minutes of a passing period.

It’s absolutely ridiculous. It hinders those of us that actually try hard in school and it isn’t fair. Don’t hurt the majority for a minority. How can you expect us to change last minute after years of the same stuff? The school has over stepped and I will not stand idly by and let it ruin my last year as a child.
