Students would still find a way to bring weapons in regardless if they are allowed to carry bags or not. I don’t fully understand this rule since students are still able to bring their bags to school they just must be put in lockers. Technically they can put weapons in their bag and just have them in their locker. This rule is pointless, if I do say so myself. It’s also disrespectful how they sent out the letter one week prior to school starting, when students already bought bags. Since we have no proper protection for our laptops, don’t blame us if we drop them accidentally. If we were able to carry backpacks this wouldn’t be a problem. Please take this new rule into reconsideration.

Some kids don't have time to go to their lockers and to their classroom in time. Plus, isn't that what backpacks are made for to carry on your back!? Why take that away if your not going to use it?

Just get metal detectors for the students and an xray machine for the backpacks and stop this nonsense.

Nobody has time to run to their lockers between every class. Get metal detectors and teach these kids about right and wrong. Don't make life more difficult for everyone.

Ever thought of all the classes they have not in the same area. How are they suppose to go from one end of the school to the next use restroom an get things out of locker in 5 minutes.

You carry backpacks every day in college, and personally carrying a backpack in high school and not having to worry about leaving things in my locker was instrumental to my learning.
