CNUSD needs to do what districts that care about the health of their students and faculty are doing - close effective Monday

Please close our schools in CNUSD. Events are being cancelled such as concerts and sporting events, our schools should be closed as well. Schools are the largest daily gathering of people and yet we are keeping them open. Our children are precious and should not be exposed to this risk.

They say it's a serious epidemic crisis but haven't closed schools yet! They email us saying because no one in our city has been reported infected. So, what are we suppose to do just wait and see what happens like sitting ducks?! Or how about we actually prevent anything bad from happening and let our kids get independent study until it clears out!

Yes my 93 year old grandmother and my mother who just had surgery would not make it should we get exposed/

I have a compromised immune system and copd. This particular Illness could be detrimental to our family. Please consider closing doors at least until warmer weather.

We don’t want district to risk our kids safety and health. When things really happen, all they will do is to say sorry, and at the end it is the family get infected suffers. So we want to have the option for the best safety of our own children.
