Keep the kids safe. We need to be proactive and try to prevent the spread of covid19 these kids can be carriers and spread it to vulnerable people in our community. Hospitals do not have enough beds and or testing kits let alone ventilators. If we can help with the load of people in the Ers and urgent care why aren’t we?!

As a parent of 2 special needs children, this seems like a no brainer to have closed the schools for a determined or even indefinite amount of time. We cannot be reactive but rather PRO-ACTIVE! This is a reckless and horribly thought through decision!

Every sporting event like the NBA among others have been shut down. Theme Parks like Disneyland have shutdown. Colleges have been shut down. If this is Pandemic why haven't they done so for our young children? CNUSD needs to take action.

Consider plan B. The social disruption will be much worse before it gets better. Consult with your history teachers and pandemics experts.

I hope that the school will be on vacation, go online at home, and return to school when the epidemic is over.

I support the option for independent studies for students who can or who have immune compromised family members.

This should be a parents option. Keep our kids home and let them do online school or send them to public classes. This would decrease the amount of kids in the public setting and allow some to still keep up with their schoolwork by opting to work online without attendance punishments.
