Please help myself and other hedgehog needing people around Georgia. Their only 6 state that do not allow hedgehogs as pets. For many hedgehogs are more than pets; to some they love them like one loves a dog or cat, they’re a playful buddy, and a not so common friend. Please sign this help those who love hedgehogs, help they’re only be five states that dont allow hedgehogs- and then maybe we can help there by zero.

I am currently compiling a report on the current legal status of exotic pets in Georgia to present to the Department of Natural Resources. This document will outline why the existing restrictions on hedgehogs are outdated and medically unfounded.

its so unfair that we cant own them here when other states have no issues at all. they are seriously the cutest little things and i just want one for my room.

I 110% agree that hedgehogs should be allowed in Georgia, like what is against it in the first place? We don't have any species in GA that could endanger hedgehogs, all we need are proper owners who will actually take care of them which are people that purchase them as pets. The law against hedgehogs are just completely unnecessary and have no purpose.
