Golfers are more than capable of practicing social distancing. Treating the public as if we are all young children is not the best policy. It is also having a severe economic impact on an industry that was already under pressure. Sea Oaks filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. If this policy continues many more will follow. Completely unnecessary.

I think that 1 trip to shoprite for food each week is far more dangerous to my health than a couple of rounds of golf walking with my own cart and following distancing guidelines. Open the courses up!!!

I believe and urge the Governor to immediately open all golf courses. It is easy to practice “Social distancing” while golfing. Golfers are rules based individuals and will “follow rules regarding social distancing”. Golf is an outdoor activity that people need in these unusual times. Golf courses are businesses that should immediately be opened. Golf courses employee people in jobs that can be done while practicing “social distancing”.

If golf courses can remain open in some states, they should be open in all states! As long as social distancing and proper sanitary procedures are followed, then Gov. Murphy needs to revoke his order and allow all courses statewide to re-open!

Really? - or two people can’t walk a course? This game was designed for social distancing. Tee times must now be a must though

Let’s do this as properly and safely as possible; ensure social distancing while being outdoors and enjoying the great game of golf. Than you.

Total overreach. Keeping them closed makes no sense, is based on no data, and is feeding the panic of the people.
