Golf courses employee a ton of folks. It’s also a great way for people to clear their head and stay mentally healthy. Players are never within 6 feet on one another. Please. I’m begging you. You’re doing a great job.

Instead of blocking the entrances to parks with police cars, why not have the police drive thru the parks monitoring social distance?

I do understand the reasoning behind the closure and I support it to some extent. I just wish that they could open at least the lakes where I can take my kayak out for some good exercise and for my mental health. When I go out on the lake I'm absolutely nowhere near anybody at all and I patiently wait my turn at the boat launch. Usually I haven't seen anyone at all because it's still really early in the season. I think its really important to have a few activities left to support a healthy community.

Safe— easy to maintain social distancing— could open for play and practice— just no food or gatherings at clubs etc etc

Golf courses are the safest to open - the game ensures physical distancing by its design .... the best thing that can happen to make us feel somewhat normal again.
