As long as social distancing and common sense are practiced, golf should absolutely be allowed. I'm all for safety, but this decision is overreaching on the part of the govt.

It is a great outdoor activity allowing people to still be outside and socialize and keep social distancing !! Certainly no large crowds gathering

4 people within roughly 600 square yards is about as contained as you can get, isn’t it? Stupid to close down golf with restrictions

Maintaining proper precautions is possible (and easy) on a golf course. It will provide for exercise and mental relief.

As a doctor on the front lines, playing golf would be a welcome respite from the incredible stress of caring for patients

Golf is good exercise (I always walk) and is a respite from the stress of today's troubles.

This is a non contact sport where you have your own equipment and can safely implement social distancing. No different than being in the park.

As a Golf Course Superintendent I can attest, if they say going for a walk or running around your neighborhood, then playing a round of golf should be allowed. We take it seriously and have put measures in place to keep or members safe based on CDC guidelines. By allowing them to do something they say is safe anyway, going out and getting fresh air, you also keep one business going that wouldn’t need to be bailed out later. Please if it’s safe then let them play.
Keep the golf courses open!
It’s certainly safer than going to BJ’s!!!
