What’s the difference if I walk on the street or in a park for exercise or walk on the golf course hitting a ball?

Golf courses are among the safest places you can be now. Just need to use common sense. No rakes or ball washers and leave flagstick in. Ride alone in cart or walk.

Part of a regular exercise for myself as a 78 yr old who walks and carries clubs. Appears that the younger generation rides carts. It's a walking game

I’m in favor of having the courses open Raise the cups so that we don’t have to reach into the cups Single carts, carry bags , or pull carts can work for me

A golf course is probably one of the safest if not safest of all places a person could be. Even more so than too close to family members at home.

No reason why a outdoor activity that you can keep space not be open. Meanwhile you let Home Depot full up with people with no closure or regulations set on capacity

Golf is a great way to stay socially distant while also excercising and getting sun as the CDC recommends. Please open courses on a walk only basis!

Why not? Only 4 people at a time. One at a time in pro shop.

Golf provides much needed stress relief and exercise and can be played safely while maintaining social distancing. Close clubhouses, mandate walking, no rakes or removal of pins. Much safer than going to the supermarket.

Taking away people's freedom may be important in this case ... but it must be done very carefully. This is too much.
