I want to open golf courses. Exercise and sun light are good for people and social distancing can easily be attained during golf

I am all about safety during this time but I think the governor take another look at opening up the golf courses and state parks. They are very easy to control and be safe in operating.

I suspect the idea of opening all Marina’s in NY, CT and NJ was to limit the amount of travel. Seemed to be a coordinated effort on the part of the 3 states. Much harder to practice social distancing on a small boat than a 200 acre golf course. People are traveling to NY to play golf. Time for golf to open in NJ with the proper measures.

Less crowding on golf courses than in supermarkets, and you don’t have potentially infected individuals touching items that dozens of others are going to touch. Carts can be wiped down before use and holes can be adjusted so flags don’t have to be touched. Driving ranges can open too, you’re more than 6 get away from other people and balls are cleansed before going into circulation anyway.

What is the impact on ones sanity. Less risk being out on a golf course then gojng to a home depot

Hello peasants on NJ. I'm the wealthy Governor, and I'm stooopid. I can randomly spew dumb executive orders whenever I want. Next week, I'm signing an order that requires everyone to wear bubble wrap. My genius plan is for everyone to stay home because you don't need money, food, or freedom. Please watch me on TV as I make the rounds on several democratic liberal TV 'news' shows ... I just hope nobody asks about the bill of rights.

As a member of Trenton Country Club - I have to say that this resolution is misguided. Golf can be played with a high degree of social distancing - far greater than what could be acheived on the city streets of a moderately large town. Put in place guidelines and allow these clubs to survive

I feel that golf courses could be open 5/1( like a Pennsylvania) as long as there are rules in place.... social distancing ( easy on a course), walking or riding 1 to a cart, wearing masks and not going if one is sick.

it makes sense, it's easy to social distance on a golf course. If you can grocery shop you have less risk of spreading a virus on a golf course.

Delaware seems to have this figured out as well other states, can't think of a more responsible group of people that would follow any guide lines that are set forth.

I have waited to add my name to the petition. Now that the weather is improving, and Governor Wolf has opened up PA, we should follow.

Pennsylvania opening up May 1st. So much for being in lockstep with the surrounding states. What a leader we have. Cannot wait to move.
