Lake Nighthorse shouldn’t have these restrictions on a lake for recreation and way to big to have the whole lake be a no wake zone. You want a no wake lake, go to one of the many others that are.

I own a boat and jet skis...I pay plenty towards my right to use. I was also all for this project when it was presented with open usage. I will still go to Lake Powell and Navajo Lake, but should have the right and option to use this lake if needed or wanted!!

There are already no wake zones established. The lake is big enough to allow for jetskis and boats to be able to do water sports. We have waited long enough for this lake to open, and it should allow for everything!

Shoreline vehicle access to these waters will be very limited. Public lands and waters should be multi use. Restrictions based on safety are reasonable however, restrictions based on limiting one group over another is not. There are plenty of non motorized, or motor restricted, lakes within an easy drive of Durango.

We have plenty of no wake lakes. Plus taxes on boat fuel was used to help build it!

I am a resident of La Plata County. There are many no wake lakes in the area, and there is no logical reason motorized boats shouldn't be able to fully utilize Lake Nighthorse. Please keep it open to ALL who choose to recreate in our beautiful area.

The QLNC are a bunch of selfish holier than thou people. At the very least let there be alternating days or weeks that will allow us to use power boats. But there is not any reason why both groups can't get along.

If 265 acre Recapture Reservoir in SW Utah can handle full speed ski boats, 1500 acre Lake Nighthorse definitely can!

Thought this was already sorted out? This lake is for everyone and I think there is plenty of room for all the types of watercraft that have been agreed too.
