Recent changes to YouTube's policy have meant that UEFA and the FA now terminate channels containing content from their games. This essentially brings to an end many football compilation channels from YouTube. This is unfair as the content is used in a way which is transformative and is used under fair use:
"Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use."
We need as many signatures and support on this petition as possible so please share and sign

I watch these videos to learn new soccer skills and tricks and improve my level of soccer, which the rules state are fine. This is how I learnt about many special moves, skills, tricks and kicks that I now use.
these videos serve as free advertisement for Champions League. I pay for a uefa.com account and a fox soccer 2 go account because I love the champions league and these videos make you want to watch all the games... not just your favorite teams!
It's almost impossible to watch football anymore, it's all turning into a sport only people with the paid-tv channels can watch Zlatan Ibrahimovic states in his biography that he learned tricks and skills by looking at R9 videos on youtube himself, imagine how many he spoke for there
I have recently started a footballl channel and all videos were removed within minutes of upload. I put hours of effort into these videos for people to enjoy and it really is disheartening to see them removed.
It is what we love and all want to do, a 3 minute compilation will not stop us from watching the documentaries you make money from on TV. UEFA and Premier League some of the editors on here are better than editors working for you. PLEASE revoke your decision OR meet us in the middle.

This type of edits/videos should be allowed and if copyright owners want to, they can monetize them, so they can take the profit. We don't care about profits, we want to be able to edit and show the beauty of football worldwide!
