This is a no-brainer in a world where people are glued to their devices around the clock. I think it is nonsense that Apple doesnt have this on the iOS store. For that matter, it should be on android phones too.

The feature is needed for people with light sensitivity issues. iPhone and other screens cause severe headaches in some people. f.lux greatly helps with this tragic problem.

I love reading on my iPad before bed. I don't like the mounting studies that show the harmful nature of blue light. Allow me the option to filter it out!

I use f.lux for Mac and it's saved my eyeballs a lot of strain. If you are confident about the Mac version, why not allow the iOS version? Please, help me save my kids from ODing on blue screen light from their iPhones!

This is a badly needed feature and it is missing. As others have said, it prevents me from using my iPad and iPhone after a certain time at night. Not only does this reduce functionality to the point of handicap, it also causes me to use and buy more stuff on my Kindle. Please consult with f.lux either to build it in as an update or to make it available as an app. It seems backwards not to, given the science behind it and the reason people want to change the light from their screen is for their health. You're dealing with early adopters here, hello! I expect that at a certain point in history something along the lines of f.lux will be a built in feature like the Retina display, except it will be for comfort and safety, rather than just aesthetics. If Samsung get around to it first, I'll switch.

f.lux makes a massive difference to me and the lack of it on iOS prevents me from using my iOS devices before bed decreasing my usage and causing me to buy my books on the Kindle store for my Kindle rather than on iBooks.
I realize it's a long shot to get this allowed since there's currently no applications or API's to let you change the display throughout the device but if f.lux couldn't be officially support maybe you could build this functionality into iOS directly like other tablets are now doing.
