Allow Dual Language Immersion Teachers into America!

We need international teachers. We have a teacher shortage in the United States, and until we can get that all figured out, our J1 visa teachers provide us with wonderful cultural connections for our students, but also fill the need for teachers

We need native speakers of other languages to teach our students in immersion programs. If we don't, our children miss out and don't get the quality of education they have received up until now.

Our DLI teachers from France have been invaluable. During the year they had an American who had learned French my children learned inaccurate grammer and and incorrect accent. My children have also learned so much about culture from them that they would not have learned otherwise. We need these teachers from abroad for this program to succeed.

We need teachers who speak languages fluently.

Our children’s educational needs ought to be a focus. Qualified teachers are already in short supply. We need to have native speakers for dual immersion classes.

We need our native language teachers. No one else can take their place.

We need these qualified teachers to help our youth

DLI programs are so important to a well-rounded education, and native speakers play a vital role. Please allow native speakers to continue to come here and teach out children!
