Decisions regarding a child's health and best interests are best left to the child's parents. We love DKJA, but we also believe that as parents, we have the right to decide whether or not to mask our children for 8 hours a day, five days a week. Parents who want their children masked should be allowed to make that choice, and those who do not should likewise be allowed to choose not to mask their children. DKJA staff who are concerned about exposure can opt to vaccinate, or choose not to work. The undersigned feel strongly that children deserve to have the basic human necessity of breathing fresh air unrestricted during their school day. We respectfully request that the administration respect our right to choose for our children.

Everyone is free, but our children who are in their third year of interrupted school and life. Time to accept the blessing that they are safe and let them breathe!
