We would like to ask DB management to consider the current circumstances of children who live in Discovery Bay and allow children to play ball games outdoors, according to government regulations, and within daylight hours. Our children have experienced several weeks of online learning and limited leisure/social activities, which has greatly impacted their emotional and physical wellbeing. Local residents instigated a petition to further restrict our children's activities by banning ball games. We would like to counter this with a petition to ALLOW children to play ball games, and be children. They need this outlet and people to represent their voice.

I signed to support to allow the children to play outdoor anywhere in Dbay as the only thing they can stretched their muscle after long hours sitting inside the house doing online class.
The children have to have something and playing is all they have at the moment. There was a message from management to say that children were being too noisy in the apartments and that they were disturbing other people so the only place for them to go out and play is outside.
Agree my kids also goes behind Greenbelt to play that’s the only safe place they can go esp now with taxis and other cars speeding around db
My son is one of those boys. He never plays later than 6.30. It definitely is necessary to give our kids a chance to play outside during this terrible time for them.
Children need to play. When there is no danger to others or disrespectful behaviour then I wish security would ignore complaints. We live in a family community - a little bit of noise from children playing should bring people joy not anger.
I think kids should be able to play ball Games
