The POA should show proof where bird baths contribute to our mosquito problem. People who use bird baths enjoy watching birds. They keep the baths clean and change out the water often, so I don't consider it "standing water"

Insane that anyone can think that bird baths are causing a mosquito problem in the Lowcountry. Bird baths provide a water source for many urban found animals and insects. The water just needs changed every other day to keep it sanitary.

It’s disappointing to see that a petition is even needed for this topic by our community members.
The Board and ASM need to move their focus back to-
1. Building a 2-5 year financial proforma and balancing the annual budget.
2. finalizing an action plan and timeline for the building renewal projects that need done as our aging buildings approach the 20 year mark.
Without a sound fiscal budget and functioning physical buildings …. bird baths are going to be the least of our community concerns.

I’m finding it difficult to understand how bird feeders are causing mosquitoes when this area is full of marshes, ponds and rivers. Eliminating bird feeders is NOT going to solve an insect issue. This is insanity.

Stagnant sitting water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, not the situation fir birds baths, as bird lovers keep the water fresh and inviting ( and helpful) to birds. Birds need our help as the temperatures climb. To deny nature lovers their ability to enjoy birds while helping them is insensitive, inhumane and senseless.

I don't understand why this is a problem. There are some terrible looking, junky backyards and back porches that are such a mess and really bringing down the way our community looks! I remember when I couldn't hang a small sun catcher in my front window without being fined!
