Yes please allow the bird baths, oh for Pete's sake, what kind of a world is this, without them!?

This is probably the most nonsensical rule I've run into living in the towns. This reeks of "Karen" or "chad" mentality.

I am all for bird baths, they are kept clean all the time. The standing water is the issue on south street, especially on the left side. The water stays there for at least a week, tjst causes problems with mosquitoes. Pass the allowing of bird baths!!

I haven’t had a birdbath for years the water evaporates within a couple days and you have to constantly refill it. Therefore, it is technically fresher water it does not give the mosquitoes a chance to lay eggs and hatch in that period of time I have seen more water, relate in empty containers or empty flower pots, that were much deeper and other nooks and crannies that water can lie in . And are you going to fill in all the lakes all the still water areas that are in the area too? Bird baths are not your mosquito problems. You have board problems! You can’t fix stupid. Birds eat mosquitoes and other bugs.

Humans are the least significant beings on this planet, who cause the most harm. Support the birds. The insects. The planet.

It's time for a complete change in power in this neighborhood. Starts with the board, poa. It's sad how much this nieghborhood has changed in so many negative ways. I've always liked to watch the birds, look at all the different decor outside peoples homes. Makes it unique. Things need to change. This past 4 years have been horrible, and getting worse by the day.

Mosquito dunks can control them by killing large. Totally save for birds. Bleach could be harmful.

This is the most ridiculous ban I have ever hears. Maybe you should ban lawn sprinklers too since they may cause a puddle where mosquitos can lay eggs

Ridiculous and unnecessary! Homeowners who have birdbaths clean and refill them every 2-3 days. They are NOT the cause of standing water and breeding mosquitoes!!!

They could have simply asked people to change the water daily or add a pump to keep the water moving. Why not find a solution before issuing a total ban???

That's just plain ignorant. We have a mosquito problem and always have. Don't blame it on having a bird bath. There's not that many of them.
