We would like to have a few hens just for eggs and benefits of chickens in the family. Just Hens. Roosters are a pain in the ass and can be loud and annoying.

I am all for chickens with proper ordinances to protect neighbors and animal abuse. But from my research of local ordinances from cities near to us, I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be a thing here in Oak Forest!

i would love to have chicken cope in my back yard. I was a vet tech for 10 yrs. Eggs are one of the healthiest foods avaliable and i would share.
