we are trained to believe bigger is better, it is lame and out dated... we can still save paradise and not turn it into just another wasteland for human use only...

Nice! Our friend has one here in OKC, even though houses are MUCH more affordable than on Kauai! Would love to see more of these instead of run-down shacks that rent for $2,000/mo.

Tiny homes are the way to go especially here in Hawaii. Not everyone can afford a half a million or more house. For those of us who would also like a chance to have a home that is affordable, I say YES to tiny homes.

I signed the petition. But this is Kauai. Just find some private land and park your tiny home on it(either your own property or rent a part of someone's yard). No one will even care. And if someone does say something, just tell them you'll report their illegal structures they built on their property. 1/4 of the homes on Kauai are probably unpermitted. Just respect the land and be curtious. The county doesn't have the time or resources to try and regulate it. It would take years before they got around to it. And by then hopefully we can adapt laws permitting more Eco based living. Just don't let the lack of clear legislation keep you from living your dream.

Lets do this! Theres plenty of room for all to live comfortable together on the planet if we collectivlely step towards what we truly need and let our desires fall away. True happiness will arise in abundance. Tiny houses are good, help support this worthy cause, you will not regret it!
