There should also be a stipulation as to who qualifies for these houses. This should be for locals, people who have lived on kauai for at least 10 years.

I live on Kauai in a tent. I am born and raised in hawaii, and for me at this time in our economic strife, this is the only viable option for. Allowing me to work only one job 4-5 days a week, so that I can have a little free time to enjoy life!!!

i lost my home in 2008, and need ANYTHING affordable, as rents are going sky high!
The least expensive place, mow, is a studio ( 1 room with NO kitchen facilities or sink ) .I need affordable housing, before I am homeless!

why not as long as they are on your property or rented or leased property and not to be used on state or county land parks for camping I say why not
