I'm not a football fan, but I'd go and watch the Hoops play a game or two if there was pie and mash!

Cookes MUST .NOT close down - what would we do without it?
I go there as often as possible and it's always full. The ladies behind the counter seem to have been there for ever - they know almost everyone by name - can't imagine how much they will be missed by their regulars.
The market and the area generally looks a bit run down these days and could probably do with being smartened up, but NOT at the cost of losing such a brilliantly characterful place..

I was brought up in the 60s eating pie and mash,my children were brought up eating it and now my grandchildren eat it,we must save this tradition.

I grew up eating at the pie shop. its as much a part of London as buckingham palace . allways busy . shame to see it go ..

They have to be allowed to carry on trading. Such a synonymous part of QPR &Shepherds Bush as a community.
